2013 Northeast Conference Men's Soccer Season
The 2013 Northeast Conference men's soccer season was the 33rd season of men's varsity soccer in the conference. The Quinnipiac Bobcats are the defending regular season champions, while the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights are the defending tournament champions. Northeast Conference Men's Soccer Tournament
The Northeast Conference soccer tournament is the conference soccer championship of the NCAA Division I Northeast Conference. The top four finishers in the regular season of the conference's eight teams advance to the single-elimination tournament. The tournament is held at the campus of the regular season champion. The winner of the tournament receives an automatic berth to the NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championship. The NEC started fielding men's soccer games in 1985 and started a conference tournament in 1989, Fairleigh Dickinson won the inaugural championship. St. Francis Brooklyn have won the most titles with nine (9). Fairleigh Dickinson holds the longest consecutive championship streak (4, 2000–03), followed by Monmouth (3, 2009–11). LIU Brooklyn Blackbirds Men's Soccer
The LIU Brooklyn Blackbirds were the athletic teams representing Long Island University's campus in Brooklyn, New York in intercollegiate athletics, including men's and women's basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, and track; women's-only bowling, lacrosse, softball, tennis, and volleyball; and men's-only baseball. The Blackbirds competed in NCAA Division I and were members of the Northeast Conference. A member of the Northeast Conference, LIU Brooklyn sponsored teams in six men's and thirteen women's NCAA sanctioned sports: The LIU Brooklyn Blackbirds merged with the Division II LIU Post Pioneers after the 2018–19 academic year. Brooklyn Bridge Park is an park on the Brooklyn side of the East River in New York City. The Sacred Heart Pioneers are the 32 sports teams (14 men, 18 women) representing Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut in intercollegiate athletics.
