2013 King's Cup
The 2013 King's Cup was an international football competition, the 42nd edition of the tournament. It was a two-round knockout tournament, with all matches held at the 700th Anniversary Stadium in Chiang Mai, Thailand between 23 January and 26 January. This edition features the hosts Thailand and three invited teams (Sweden, Finland and North Korea). In the final Sweden defeated Finland 3–0 to win the tournament. Going into the tournament, North Korea were unofficial football world champions. In winning their semi-final, Sweden took the title and successfully defended it in the final. 700th Anniversary Stadium
The 700th Anniversary of Chiang Mai Stadium ( th, สนามเชียงใหม่ 700 ปี) is a multi-purpose stadium in Chiang Mai, Chiang Mai Province, Thailand, built to host the 1995 Southeast Asian Games and to commemorate the 700th anniversary of Chiang Mai's establishment at the same time. It was also used for the 1998 Asian Games. Football side Chiangmai F.C. returned to the stadium for the 2009 season, having used a municipal stadium elsewhere in the city in recent years. Teeratep Winothai ( th, ธีรเทพ วิโนทัย, born 16 February 1985), simply known as Leesaw ( th, ลีซอ) is a Thai retired footballer playing as a forward. He previously spent his youth career with England's Crystal Palace and Everton. He got a bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Education from Chulalongkorn University. Mikko Sumusalo (born 12 March 1990), is a Finnish professional football defender who plays for IFK Mariehamn and the Finnish national team. Sumusalo was born in Porvoo, Finland.
