2013 Atlantic Sun Conference Men's Soccer Season
The 2013 Atlantic Sun Conference men's soccer season will be the 35th season of men's varsity soccer in the conference. It will be the last A-Sun season for East Tennessee State Buccaneers men's soccer, East Tennessee State and Mercer Bears men's soccer, Mercer, both of which will move to the Southern Conference in July 2014. The defending regular season and tournament champions are the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles men's soccer, Florida Gulf Coast Eagles. Atlantic Sun Conference
The Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) is a collegiate athletic conference operating mostly in the Southeastern United States. The league participates at the NCAA Division I level, and began sponsoring football at the Division I FCS level in 2022. Originally established as the Trans America Athletic Conference (TAAC) in 1978, it was renamed as the Atlantic Sun Conference in 2001, and briefly rebranded as the ASUN Conference from 2016 to 2023. The conference still uses "ASUN" as an official abbreviation. The conference headquarters are located in Jacksonville. The Stetson Hatters are composed of 18 teams representing Stetson University in intercollegiate athletics.
