2012–13 West Coast Conference Men's Basketball Season
The 2012–13 West Coast Conference men's basketball season began with practices in October 2012 and ended with the 2013 West Coast Conference men's basketball tournament at the Orleans Arena March 6–11, 2013 in Las Vegas. The regular season began in November, with the conference schedule starting at the end of December. This was the 62nd season for the conference, and the 24th under its current name as "West Coast Conference". The conference began as the California Basketball Association in 1952, became the West Coast Athletic Conference in 1956, and dropped the word "Athletic" in 1989. After having no changes from 1980 until 2011, the conference will have its second change in three years in 2013. Division I (NCAA)

Orleans Arena
Orleans Arena is a 9,500-seat multi-purpose arena in Paradise, Nevada, in the Las Vegas Valley. It is located at the The Orleans, Orleans Hotel and Casino and is operated by Coast Casinos, a subsidiary of Boyd Gaming, Boyd Gaming Corporation. The arena is the home to the Vegas Rollers of World TeamTennis since 2019. It is also an occasional home for the UNLV Rebels basketball team when the Thomas & Mack Center is in use. Brandon Davies
Brandon Davies (born July 25, 1991) is an American-born naturalized Ugandan professional basketball player for Partizan Belgrade of the Basketball League of Serbia (KLS), the Adriatic League and the EuroLeague. He also represents the senior Ugandan national team. He was an all-conference college player at Brigham Young University. Davies is a two time All-EuroLeague selection. 2012–13 Santa Clara Broncos Men's Basketball Team
The 2012–13 Santa Clara Broncos men's basketball team represented the University of Santa Clara during the 2012–13 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. This was head coach Kerry Keating's sixth season at Santa Clara. The Broncos played their home games at the Leavey Center and were members of the West Coast Conference. They finished the season 26–12, 9–7 in WCC play to finish in fourth place. They lost in the quarterfinals of the WCC tournament to Loyola Marymount. They were invited to the 2013 College Basketball Invitational where they defeated Vermont, Purdue and Wright State to advance to the best-of-three games finals against George Mason. The 2012–13 Loyola Marymount Lions men's basketball team represented Loyola Marymount University during the 2012–13. This was head coach Max Good's fifth season at Loyola Marymount. The Lions competed in the West Coast Conference and played their home games at Gersten Pavilion. They finished the season 11–23, 1–15 in WCC play to finish in last place. Barry Tompkins
Barry David Tompkins (born May 2, 1940) is an American sportscaster. He is better known for his work as a boxing commentator, but he has covered football and other sports. Early life Tompkins was born and raised in San Francisco. Career KCBS, KPIX, WNBC, NBC Sports and KRON He began his broadcasting career at San Francisco radio station KCBS in 1965. Tompkins was hired as sports director at the San Francisco CBS television affiliate, KPIX-TV. In 1974, he moved to New York to join WNBC-TV as a sports anchor and feature reporter, before moving to NBC Sports in 1975 to host weekly radio shows as well as television play-by-play for basketball and football. Tompkins spent five years at NBC. Tompkins returned to San Francisco in 1978 and joined then-NBC affiliate KRON-TV as sports director, while continuing to cover Pac-10 basketball for NBC as well as feature stories for its NFL pre-game show. Big West Conference
The Big West Conference (BWC) is an American collegiate List of NCAA conferences, athletic conference whose member institutions participate in the National Collegiate Athletic Association's NCAA Division I, Division I. The conference was originally formed on July 1, 1969, as the Pacific Coast Athletic Association (PCAA), and in 1988 was renamed the Big West Conference. The conference stopped sponsoring college football after the 2000 season. Among the conference's 11 member institutions, 10 are located in California (nine in Southern California alone), and one is located in Hawaii (though the Hawaii member is leaving for the Mountain West Conference, effective July 1, 2026).
