2012–13 TCU Horned Frogs Men's Basketball Team
The 2012–13 TCU Horned Frogs basketball team represented Texas Christian University in the 2012–13 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. This was head coach Trent Johnson's first season at TCU. They played their home games at Daniel–Meyer Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas and were in their first season as members of the Big 12 Conference. They finished the season 11–21, 2–16 in Big 12 play to finish in last place. They lost in the first round of the Big 12 tournament to Texas. On February 8, 2013, TCU earned their first ever Big 12 conference victory with a 62–55 upset win over 5th ranked Kansas. The win was also TCU's first over an opponent ranked in the top 5. Trent Johnson
Trent Aubrey Johnson (born September 12, 1956) is a former American college basketball coach. Johnson had previously been the head coach at Cal State University Northridge, Texas Christian University, Louisiana State University, Stanford University, and University of Nevada. Early life and education Johnson was born in Berkeley, California. He graduated from Franklin High School in Seattle, Washington in 1974 and played at Boise State University from 1974 to 1978. He received his bachelor's degree in physical education from Boise State in 1983. Coaching career Nevada The University of Nevada, Reno hired Johnson as head coach for Nevada Wolf Pack men's basketball on March 7, 1999. This culminated in the 2003–04 season, when Johnson guided the Wolf Pack to a 25–9 record and its first NCAA tournament appearance since 1985. Seagoville High School is a public secondary school located in Dallas, Texas, United States, northwest of the city of Seagoville. Seagoville High School enrolls students in grades 9– 12 and is a part of the Dallas Independent School District. North Crowley High School is a public high school in Fort Worth, Texas. It administers grades 9–12 and is part of the Crowley Independent School District. Hazelwood Central High School is located at 15875 New Halls Ferry Road in unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, adjacent to the current northeast boundary of Florissant.
