The 2012–13 season was St Mirren's seventh consecutive season in the Scottish Premier League, having been promoted from the Scottish First Division at the end of the 2005–06 season. Thomas Reilly (footballer)
Thomas Reilly (born 15 September 1994) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder or forward for Gartcairn Juniors. He has also played for St Mirren, Elgin City, Forfar Athletic and Kelty Hearts, as well as Albion Rovers on loan. Club career St Mirren Reilly was born in Irvine. A member of St Mirren's under-19 squad, in November 2011, Reilly was sent on loan to Albion Rovers to gain first team experience. On his return he made his Scottish Premier League debut as a substitute aged just 17 against Hearts at Tynecastle. Paul McGowan (footballer)
Paul McGowan (born 7 October 1987) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for club Annan Athletic. McGowan started his career with Scottish Premier League club Celtic, but struggled to break into the first team and was sent out on loan several times. He spent the 2006–07 season with third-tier side Morton, where he won the Second Division title and received individual accolades. Having made only two appearances following his return to Celtic, he spent the second half of the 2008–09 season with Hamilton Academical in the SPL. He moved on loan to another SPL side, St Mirren, for the 2010–11 season, after which Celtic released him from his contract and he signed with St Mirren permanently. Marc McAusland (born 13 September 1988) is a Scottish footballer who plays as a defender for Icelandic club Njarðvík. McAusland has had two spells with his local side St Mirren, and has also played for Queen of the South, Dunfermline Athletic, Keflavík, Grindavík, as well as briefly being on loan with Stranraer.
