2012–13 Norwich City F.C. Season
The 2012–13 season was the List of Norwich City F.C. seasons, 111th season of football for Norwich City. It was Norwich City's second campaign in the Premier League since being promoted in the 2010–11 season. It was their 23rd season in the top flight of English football. During the season, they competed in the 2012–13 Football League Cup, League Cup and the 2012–13 FA Cup, FA Cup exiting at the quarter final and fourth rounds respectively. Norwich City F
Norwich () is a cathedral city and district of the county of Norfolk, England, of which it is the county town. It lies by the River Wensum, about north-east of London, north of Ipswich and east of Peterborough. The population of the Norwich City Council local authority area was estimated to be 144,000 in 2021, which was an increase from 143,135 in 2019. Sébastien Bassong
Sébastien Aymar Bassong Nguena (born 9 July 1986) is a former professional footballer who played as a defender. Born in France, he opted to play for the Cameroon national team. Club career Metz Born in Paris, France, Metz signed Bassong out of the Clairefontaine academy. Declan Rudd
Declan Thomas Rudd (born 16 January 1991) is an English former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Early life Born in Diss, Norfolk, he was originally spotted by Norwich City when playing for local side Bressingham as a striker. "I think my size helped me," said Rudd speaking to Club's official matchday programme, 'On The Ball', back in October 2007. The goalkeeper (sometimes written as goal-keeper, abbreviated as GK, keeper, keeps, or goalie) is a association football positions, position in association football. John Ruddy
John Thomas Gordon Ruddy (born 24 October 1986) is an English professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper. He is currently a free agent. Ruddy began his career at Cambridge United, before signing for Everton as a 19-year-old. He spent five years with Everton, but made just one appearance, while playing on loan at nine different clubs. Ruddy was signed by Paul Lambert to play for Norwich City in 2010 and, in his first season, was part of the team that finished second in the Championship, gaining promotion to the Premier League. The following year, Norwich finished twelfth in the Premier League, and Ruddy was selected by new England manager Roy Hodgson for the squad for Euro 2012. Michael Wynn-Jones
Michael Wynn Jones (born September 1941) is a Welsh writer, editor and publisher. He is an honorary life president of Norwich City with his wife, the former television cook Delia Smith, and was previously the Joint Majority Shareholder of the club alongside Smith from 1998 to 2024. Early life Wynn Jones studied at Lancing College and the University of Oxford. His father was a Church of England vicar in Tivetshall and Redenhall with Harleston, and his mother was a teacher at Diss Grammar School. Neil Adams (footballer)
Neil James Adams (born 23 November 1965) is an English former professional footballer and former manager who is the current technical director of EFL Championship club Norwich City. He played as a midfielder for Stoke City, Everton, Oldham Athletic and Norwich City. Adams began his career playing for his local club Stoke City, where he quickly earned a reputation of being a tricky and productive winger. This prompted Everton to pay a fee of £150,000 for his signature in June 1986. Jani Viander (born 18 August 1975) is a Finnish former football goalkeeper who currently works as the Lead Academy Goalkeeper Coach at Premier League side Brentford. David Watson (footballer Born 1973)
David Neil Watson (born 10 November 1973) is an English football coach and former player, who played as a goalkeeper for Barnsley and the England under-21 team. After injury forced his early retirement from playing, he took up coaching, working as goalkeeping coach for several clubs as well as spending four years in the same role with the England team. In 2014, he joined Southampton, where he has been a first-team assistant coach since 2019. Playing career Watson was born in Barnsley, South Yorkshire.
