Northampton Town F
Northampton ( ) is a town and civil parish in Northamptonshire, England. It is the county town of Northamptonshire and the administrative centre of the unitary authority of West Northamptonshire. The town is situated on the River Nene, north-west of London and south-east of Birmingham. Northampton is one of the largest towns in England; the population of its overall urban area was recorded as 249,093 in the 2021 census. The parish of Northampton alone had 137,387. Archaeological evidence of settlement in the area dates to the Bronze Age, Romans and Anglo-Saxons. Dean Snedker
Dean Snedker (born 17 November 1994) is an English footballer who is currently a free agent. He plays as a goalkeeper. Club career Northampton Town Born in Northampton, Snedker started a two-year scholarship with Northampton Town in July 2011 after coming through their youth system. His professional debut for Northampton came on 14 August 2012, in a 2–1 victory over Cardiff City in the Football League Cup. He signed his first professional contract with the club in August 2012. He joined Carshalton Athletic on a month-long loan in September 2013. His loan was extended by a further month in October 2013. He joined Banbury United in December 2013 on a month-long loan. Kelvin Langmead
Kelvin Steven Langmead (born 23 March 1985) is an English former professional footballer. Career Preston North End Langmead began his career as a trainee at Preston North End joining in 2001. He spent a month on loan to Tamworth in the Football Conference, where he played two matches in September 2003. Later in the same season Preston loaned him to then Division 3 club Carlisle. He played 11 matches, with his league début coming in a 4–1 defeat at Torquay on 6 March 2004. His first goal was at Mansfield in a 3–2 win on 24 April. In September 2004 Langmead was again sent out on loan, this time to Kidderminster Harriers in the newly named League Two. He played 11 matches for the Harriers and scored one goal. Joseph Widdowson (born 28 March 1989) is an English former professional footballer who plays as a defender. He began his career with Premier League side West Ham United, spending time on loan with Rotherham United. He later signed a permanent contract with Grimsby Town which was the start of an extensive Football League career with Rochdale, Northampton Town, Dagenham & Redbridge and Leyton Orient. In the sport of association football, each of the 11 players on a team is assigned to a particular position on the field of play. A team is made up of one goalkeeper and ten outfield players who fill various defensive, midfield, and attacking positions depending on the formation deployed. These positions describe both the player's main role and their area of operation on the pitch. John Johnson (footballer)
John James Johnson (born 16 September 1988) is an English footballer who plays as a defender. A graduate of the Middlesbrough youth academy, he made his debut for the club against Chelsea. A lack of first team opportunities saw him being loaned to Football League clubs Tranmere Rovers and Northampton Town. After playing for 83 seasons on loan, Northampton signed Johnson on a permanent basis. He was also given club captainship but was replaced in the role after the arrival of Clarke Carlisle. In the 2012–13 season, his appearances for the club were hindered due to a cartilage injury. Johnson then signed for debutant Bengaluru FC in the I-League in India, managed by his former Northampton Town teammate Ashley Westwood.
