2012–13 Miami RedHawks Men's Basketball Team
The 2012–13 Miami RedHawks men's basketball team represented Miami University during the 2012–13 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The RedHawks, led by first year head coach John Cooper, played their home games at Millett Hall and were members of the East Division of the Mid-American Conference. They finished the season 9–22, 3–13 in MAC play to finish in last place in the East Division. They lost in the second round of the MAC tournament to Eastern Michigan. This season was the first -and only- season to air on the Cincinnati radio station WCFN (now WOSL). It aired on "FM 100.3 The Fan" from its December 30 game vs. Wilmington, when the station launched its sports format, until the end of the season in March. WCFN returned to its rhythmic oldies, which it previously carried as WMOJ "Mojo 100.3" format 3 months later as WOSL "Old School 100.3", ending the broadcast of RedHawks basketball on 100.3. John Cooper (basketball)
John Anthony Cooper (born February 16, 1969) is an American college basketball coach who is an assistant coach at Oklahoma State. He was the head men's basketball coach at Miami RedHawks men's basketball, Miami University, accepting the position on April 6, 2012 after Charlie Coles announced his retirement. He was let go by the university at the end of the 2016–17 season. Prior to accepting the Job at Miami, Cooper was the head coach at Tennessee State University from 2009–2012. Elmhurst, Illinois
Elmhurst is a city in DuPage County, Illinois, DuPage and Cook County, Illinois, Cook counties in the U.S. state of Illinois. It is a western suburb of Chicago. 2012–13 NC State Wolfpack Men's Basketball Team
The 2012–13 NC State Wolfpack men's basketball team represented North Carolina State University in the 2012–13 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The team's head coach was Mark Gottfried in his second season. The team played their home games at PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina, as a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference. They finished the season 24–11, 11–7 in ACC play to finish in a tie for fourth place. They advanced to the semifinals of the ACC tournament where they lost to Miami (FL). They received an at-large bid to the 2013 NCAA tournament where they lost in the second round to Temple. Preseason National pundits talked a lot about the Wolfpack in their early preseason discussions of the top teams in the country. Oxford, Ohio
Oxford is a city in northwestern Butler County, Ohio, United States. The population was 23,035 at the 2020 United States census, 2020 census.
