2012–13 Kentucky Wildcats Women's Basketball Team
The 2012–13 Kentucky Wildcats women's basketball team represented the University of Kentucky in the 2012–13 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Wildcats, coached by Matthew Mitchell, are a member of the Southeastern Conference, and played their home games on campus at Memorial Coliseum—unlike UK's famous men's program, which played off-campus at Rupp Arena in downtown Lexington. Pre-season outlook The Wildcats returned four starters, including 2012 SEC Player of the Year A'dia Mathies and SEC Freshman of the Year Bria Goss, from a team that finished 28–7 and won their second regular-season Southeastern Conference title in school history, their first since 1981–82. Matthew Mitchell (basketball Coach)
Matthew LaMont Mitchell (born December 16, 1970) is an American college basketball coach, who is currently the head coach of the Houston Cougars women's basketball, University of Houston women's basketball team. He was previously head coach for Kentucky Wildcats women's basketball, University of Kentucky women's basketball until November 12, 2020, when Mitchell announced his initial retirement from coaching. Coaching Mitchell became the head coach of UK on April 23, 2007, succeeding former UK coach Mickie DeMoss. Prior to becoming the coach at Kentucky, Mitchell spent two years as the head coach at Morehead State University, Morehead State. Mitchell started his coaching career as graduate assistant under Pat Summitt at Tennessee Lady Volunteers basketball, Tennessee, and he also spent time as an assistant coach at Florida Gators women's basketball, Florida and Kentucky before becoming a head coach. John Muir High School is a four-year comprehensive secondary school in Pasadena, California, United States and is a part of the Pasadena Unified School District. The school is named after preservationist John Muir. History In 1926, the Pasadena Unified School District constructed a second high school in the northwest corner of the city. Ben Davis High School
Ben Davis High School (BDHS) is a three-year high school in Indianapolis, Indiana. History Ben Davis was first established in 1892. The current school building was constructed in 1965. The school underwent extensive construction and renovation from 1998 to 2002 and experienced another addition of more classrooms which was completed prior to the 2007/2008 school year. With the newly opened Ninth Grade Center, the school boasts over under one continuous roof. The school is named for the 1880s Vandalia Railroad executive Benjamin Davis.
