The 2012–13 Idaho Vandals men's basketball team represented the University of Idaho during the 2012–13 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Vandals, led by fifth year head coach Don Verlin, played their home games at the Cowan Spectrum, with a few early season games at Memorial Gym, and were members of the Western Athletic Conference. they finished the season 12–18, 7–11 in WAC play to finish in sixth place. Don Verlin
Donald Gene Verlin (born June 15, 1965) is an American college basketball coach who was most recently the head coach at the University of Idaho from 2008 to 2019. Prior to Idaho, Verlin was an assistant coach at Colorado State, Utah State, and Cal State Bakersfield. Early life and education Born in Roseville, California, Verlin graduated from Del Oro High School in Loomis in 1983. He graduated from California State University, Stanislaus in 1991 with a bachelor's degree in physical education and Colorado State University in 1993 with a master's degree in education. Coaching career High school and junior college (1983–1991) With his twin brother Ron, Don Verlin was freshman basketball co-head coach at Del Oro High for a season after graduating from high school before coaching junior varsity one season at Placer High School. Kyle Barone
Kyle James Barone (born September 12, 1989) is an American basketball player who played for the Saga Ballooners of the B2 League. He was the Western Athletic Conference Player of the Year as a senior in 2012–13 after leading the WAC in scoring (18.2) and rebounding (10.9) in conference games. Barone became the first player from the University of Idaho to be named the men's basketball player of the year in the WAC. In Barone's four-year career between 2009–10 and 2012–13 he appeared in a school record 125 games. He graduated with 1,414 points—the fourth highest total in school history—as well as 864 rebounds, which ranks second. The 2012–13 Montana Grizzlies basketball team represented the University of Montana during the 2012–13 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Grizzlies, led by seventh year head coach Wayne Tinkle, played their home games at Dahlberg Arena and were members of the Big Sky Conference. The 2012–13 Wright State Raiders men's basketball team represented Wright State University during the 2012–13 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Raiders, led by third year head coach Billy Donlon, played their home games at the Nutter Center and were members of the Horizon League.
