The 2012/13 FIS Freestyle Skiing World Cup was the thirty fourth World Cup season in freestyle skiing organised by International Ski Federation. The season started on 22 August 2012 and ended on 25 March 2013. This season included five disciplines: moguls, aerials, ski cross, halfpipe and slopestyle. Mikaël Kingsbury
Mikaël Kingsbury (born July 24, 1992) is a Canadian freestyle skier. He is the most accomplished moguls and freestyle skier of all time. He achieved eminence early in his career after earning the 2009–10 FIS World Cup Rookie of the Year award. He is a 13-time FIS Freestyle World Cup title-holder for overall moguls and nine-time title-holder for overall freestyle, owning the records for most men's Moguls World Cup titles and Overall Freestyle World Cup titles. He also owns the records for career World Cup moguls victories with 99, and consecutive Freestyle World Cup event wins with 13. He is the first man to have won both the moguls and dual moguls World Championship events (sweeping the two events three times), and has won the most medals at the Freestyle World Championships of any male competitor in history, having won a medal in 15 of the 16 events he has competed in. Ski Cross
Ski cross is a skiing competition which incorporates terrain features traditionally found in freestyle skiing with courses which include big-air jumps and high-banked turns. In spite of the fact that it is a timed racing event, it is often considered a type of freestyle skiing. What sets ski cross apart from other alpine skiing disciplines is that it involves more than one skier racing down the course. Any intentional contact with other competitors like grabbing or any other forms of contact meant to give the competitor an advantage leads to disqualification. Ski cross is a part of the FIS Freestyle World Ski Championships, the world championship organized by the FIS for freestyle skiing. Innichen
Innichen (; ; , all tied to Saint Candidus) is a municipality and a village in South Tyrol in northern Italy. It is located in the Puster Valley on the Drava River, on Italy's border with Austria. Val Thorens
Val Thorens () is a ski town in the Tarentaise Valley in the French Alps at an altitude of . It is located in the commune of Saint-Martin-de-Belleville in the Savoie department. The resort forms part of the Les Trois Vallées ski area which, with over 600 km of slopes, is one of the largest linked ski areas in the world. Resort In 1971 the first of three drag lifts was installed, followed in 1972 by the opening of the first ski school. Skiing The resort is usually open from mid-November until early May. Brady Leman
Brady Leman (born October 16, 1986) is a Canadian freestyle skier specializing in ski cross, and an Olympic champion in that discipline following his victory in the ski cross event at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea. Career He won the opening event in the 2011–12 season after returning from multiple injuries and then finished the year as the second overall ranked male ski cross racer for the year. Leman, a former alpine skier, is noted for his smooth gliding and crisp passing skills. He was part of a Canadian sweep of the medals at the 2010 Winter X Games, where he finished in third place. Brady Leman skis for Elan as well as the Lake Louise Ski Resort. He also won the 2016 X Games Skier X event. Career Alpine skiing career Flisar started his career as an alpine skier in fast disciplines. Armin Niederer (born 28 February 1987) is a Switzerland, Swiss freestyle skiing, freestyle skier who specializes in the skicross discipline. He made his World Cup debut in January 2007 in Flaine, with a 27th place. He then won a bronze medal at the 2007 FIS Freestyle Junior World Ski Championships, Junior World Championships.
