2012 PBA Governors' Cup
The 2012 Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Governors' Cup, was the third and last conference of the 2011–12 PBA season. The tournament started on May 20 and culminated on August 5 with the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters team defeating the B-Meg Llamados team by 4 games to 3. The tournament was an import-laden format, which allowed an import or a pure-foreign player for each team and with a height limit of 6-foot-5. The PBA on One Sports is the branding for presentation of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) games which started since the 2011–12 PBA season, 2011-12 season. Telecasts are produced by One Sports (formerly Sports5 and ESPN5), the sports division of TV5 Network, TV5 Network Inc., and aired through One Sports (TV channel), One Sports and PBA Rush, with simulcast and livestreaming on Cignal Play, Pilipinas Live and Smart LiveStream. Also, there is a separate coverage in English commentary on PBA Rush since July 15, 2016. Powerade Tigers
The Powerade Tigers were a professional basketball team that played in the Philippine Basketball Association from 2002 to 2012. The franchise was owned by Coca-Cola Bottlers Philippines, Inc. (CCBPI) when the company acquired Cosmos Bottling Corporation from RFM Corporation. From 2002 to 2010, the team played as the Coca-Cola Tigers. The franchise won two PBA championships, in 2002 and 2003. Eddie Basden
Edward Richard Basden (born February 15, 1983) is an American professional basketball player who formerly played in the National Basketball Association (NBA). College career Basden, born in New York, New York, played competitive basketball in Greenbelt, Maryland at Eleanor Roosevelt High School, where he played against former Chicago Bulls teammate Mike Sweetney. He verbally committed to play college basketball at UMass, choosing them over Villanova, Maryland, Georgetown, and George Mason. Mario West
Mario Marceé West (born June 19, 1984) is an American former professional basketball player who is currently the Director of Off the Court for the NBPA. He previously played in the NBA for the Atlanta Hawks and New Jersey Nets. High school and college career West was a Douglas County player of the year as a senior at Douglas County High School. He also earned honorable mention all-state honors after averaging 22 points and 10 rebounds per game. West was team captain as a junior and senior. West played college basketball for Georgia Tech. Chamberlain Oguchi
Chamberlain "Champ" Nnaemeka Oguchi (born April 28, 1986) is a former Nigerian-American former professional basketball player. His name "Emeka" is an abbreviation of the Igbo name "Chukwuemeka" (meaning "God has done so much"). College career Oguchi played college basketball for the Oregon Ducks from 2004 to 2007. Marqus Austin Blakely (born October 22, 1988) is an American former professional basketball player. He played college basketball for Vermont. College career Blakely gained a reputation at Vermont by winning the Kevin Roberson America East Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Year twice and the America East Defensive Player of the Year Award three times. He earned national recognition by winning the 2010 State Farm Division I College Basketball Slam Dunk Contest. Jason Forte (basketball, Born 1984)
Jason A. Forte (born December 29, 1982) is an American former basketball player. He played college basketball for the Brown Bears and was selected as the Ivy League Player of the Year in 2004. Early life Forte moved with his mother and older brother, Joseph, from Atlanta, Georgia, to Greenbelt, Maryland, as a child. He started his basketball career at DeMatha Catholic High School in Hyattsville, Maryland, where he played alongside his brother for two seasons.
