2012–13 California Golden Bears Men's Basketball Team
The 2012–13 California Golden Bears men's basketball team represented the University of California, Berkeley in the 2012–13 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. This was head coach Mike Montgomery's fifth season at California. The Golden Bears played their home games at Haas Pavilion and participated in the Pac-12 Conference. They finished the season 21–12, 12–6 in Pac-12 play to finish in a three way tie for second place. They lost in the quarterfinals of the Pac-12 tournament to Utah. They received an at-large bid to the 2013 NCAA tournament where they defeated UNLV in the second round before losing in the third round to Syracuse. Mike Montgomery (basketball)
Michael John Montgomery (born February 27, 1947) is a retired American basketball coach. He is best known for his 18-year tenure at Stanford Cardinal men's basketball, Stanford (1986–2004), where he led the program to 12 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament, NCAA Tournaments, including a Final Four appearance in 1998 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament, 1998. Montgomery previously served as head coach at the Montana Grizzlies basketball, Montana (1978–1986). Following his time at Stanford, he coached the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association (NBA) for two seasons (2004–2006) before ending his career at the California Golden Bears men's basketball, University of California (2008–2014). He announced his retirement from coaching following the 2013–14 season. Maple Valley, WA
Maple Valley is a city in King County, Washington United States. The population was 28,013 at the 2020 census. The city functions as a commuter town for residents, though there is an increasing amount of commercial activity in the area. History The area was settled in 1879 by three men who were improving a trail and brought their families in. When a name for a future community was proposed, the names Vine Maple Valley and Maple Ridge were suggested. A vote was taken by writing the names on slips of paper and placing them in a hat.
