2011–12 West Bromwich Albion F.C. Season
The 2011–12 season was West Bromwich Albion's second consecutive season in the Premier League, their sixth in total. During the season, they competed in the League Cup and the FA Cup. Albion finished the season in 10th place after their last league game was a 2–3 loss against Arsenal. The club introduced the "Baggies Brick Road" outside the East Stand of their home ground, The Hawthorns. Supporters were given the opportunity to purchase personalised bricks to add to the walkway. The first bricks were laid by broadcaster Adrian Chiles and comedian Frank Skinner, both of whom are Albion fans. England National Under-18 Football Team
England national under-18 football team, also known as England under-18s or England U18(s), represents England in association football at under-18 age level and is controlled by the Football Association, the governing body for football in England. The team competed in the FIFA International Youth Tournament (later taken over by UEFA) and its successor, the UEFA European Under-18 Championship, and was often referred to as England Youth. After the tournament was renamed the European Under-18 Championship, England won twice more, in 1980 and 1993. The England national under-17 football team, also known as England under-17s or England U17(s), represents England in association football, football at an under-17 age level and is controlled by The Football Association, the governing body for football in England. James Morrison (footballer)
James Clark Morrison (born 25 May 1986) is a football coach and former player, who is currently a first-team coach at West Bromwich Albion and the Scotland national team. Morrison played as a midfielder for Middlesbrough and West Bromwich Albion between 2004 and 2019, and is regarded as one of the greatest midfielders in West Bromwich Albion's history. After representing various England junior sides, Morrison chose to play for Scotland at full international level and he made 46 full international appearances for them between 2008 and 2017. Liam Matthew Ridgewell (born 21 July 1984) is an English retired professional footballer who played as a defender. He was primarily a centre back but could also play at left back. He is currently an assistant coach with the Portland Timbers. Ridgewell, who earned eight caps for England at under-21 level, began his senior career with Aston Villa.
