2011–12 Sydney FC Season
The 2011–12 A-League, 2011-12 season was Sydney FC's seventh consecutive season in the A-League, Hyundai A-League since its foundation season in 2005–06 A-League, 2005–2006. The club will not compete in the 2012 AFC Champions League after failing to qualify during the previous season. The 2011–12 season also marks a new chapter in the history of the A-League, with new Kit (association football), kit manufacturers for all teams. Reebok had held the rights to jersey manufacturing rights for the first six A-League seasons. Sydney Football Club, commonly known as Sydney FC, is a professional association football, soccer club based in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. They compete in the top-tier men's league in Australia, the A-League Men. Established in 2004, they were among the eight founding teams for the inaugural 2005–06 A-League season. Pascal Bosschaart
Pascal Bosschaart (born 28 February 1980 in Rotterdam) is a Dutch football coach and former player. As a player, he won the KNVB Cup twice with Utrecht, before playing for Feyenoord, ADO Den Haag and Sydney FC. After his playing career, he transitioned into coaching and became interim coach at Cambuur and Feyenoord. Club career Eredivisie Bosschaart made his professional league debut for Utrecht in the 1997–98 season, playing for the club until the 2003–04 season, when he was bought by Feyenoord. His first game for Feyenoord was a 6–1 victory over De Graafschap. In August 2006, he moved to ADO Den Haag. Bosschaart did not see a great deal of game time under former manager André Wetzel in the 2008–09 season, and therefore joined Helsingborgs IF on trial in February 2009. Mark Bridge
Mark Robert Bridge (born 7 November 1985) is a retired Australian professional football (soccer) player. Bridge is the Western Sydney Wanderers' first ever goalscorer, earning himself the nickname 'King Bridge' among fans. On 18 April 2015 in the 26th-round match against Adelaide United, Bridge became the ninth player to reach 200 A-League games. Juho Mäkelä
Juho Mäkelä (born 23 June 1983) is a Finnish former footballer who played as a striker. He is especially known for his pace. Club career Early career Mäkelä played in the youth sector of Oulun Luistinseura (OLS) in his home-town Oulu. Lefteris "Terry" Antonis (; born 26 November 1993) is an Australian soccer player who plays as a midfielder for Thai League 1 side Uthai Thani. Joel Joseph Chianese (born 15 February 1990) is an Australian semi-professional footballer currently playing for Perth RedStar, in the NPL WA competition. Terence Martin "Terry" McFlynn (born 27 March 1981) is a retired footballer from Northern Ireland who is most well known for playing for the A-League club Sydney FC. He is the director of football for A-League expansion club Auckland FC. Early life McFlynn grew up in Swatragh, in Northern Ireland to a Catholic family. He played Gaelic Football for the first sixteen years of his life, one of Ireland's traditional sports, before he switched to football on advice from his uncle. Shannon Cole
Shannon Cole (born 4 August 1984) is a former professional footballer turned coach, who is currently the head coach of Central Coast United in NSW League Two. Club career Cole's early football career saw a series of stints with NSW state league clubs, in particular APIA Leichhardt, Dulwich Hill, Rockdale City Suns and Parramatta Eagles. Dimitrios Petratos (born 10 November 1992) is an Australian professional soccer player who plays as a forward for Indian Super League club Mohun Bagan.
