2011–12 Sevilla FC Season
The 2011–12 La Liga, 2011–12 Spanish football season is Sevilla FC, Sevilla Fútbol Club's 11th consecutive season in La Liga and eighth consecutive playing UEFA, European competitions since its participation in the 2004–05 UEFA Cup, despite the earlier fall in the Fourth Qualifying Round in August. The team manager in the 2010–11 Sevilla FC season, previous season, Gregorio Manzano, did not continue in the club. During the List of Spanish football transfers summer 2011, summer of 2011, Sevilla signed Marcelino García Toral, Marcelino as new manager after he unilaterally severed his contract with Racing de Santander. On 6 February, after losing 1–2 at home against Villarreal CF, Villarreal and after Sevilla earned just two points in its previous seven matches, he was sacked and replaced with Míchel (footballer, born 1963), Míchel. Sevilla FC
Sevilla Fútbol Club () is a Spanish professional association football, football club based in Seville, Andalusia, that competes in La Liga, the Spanish football league system, top flight of Spanish football. The club was formed on 25 January 1890, making it Spain's oldest sporting club solely devoted to football. The Scottish-born Edward F. 2003–04 La Liga
The 2003–04 La Liga season was the 73rd since its establishment. It began on 30 August 2003, and concluded on 23 May 2004. Valencia were crowned champions for the sixth time in club history. Teams Twenty teams competed in the league – the top seventeen teams from the previous season and the three teams promoted from the Segunda División. The promoted teams were Murcia, Zaragoza and Albacete, returning to the top flight after an absence of fourteen, one and seven years respectively. Martín Cáceres
José Martín Cáceres Silva (; born 7 April 1987) is an Uruguayan professional footballer for Paraguayan Primera División club Libertad. Mainly a centre-back, he can also play on either flank, mostly as a right-back. After starting out at Defensor Sporting, he was bought by Spanish club Villarreal in 2007. In the following years he competed in Spain and Italy, notably winning six Serie A titles with Juventus and the 2009 Champions League with Barcelona.
