2011–12 Marist Red Foxes Men's Basketball Team
The 2011–12 Marist Red Foxes men's basketball team represented Marist College during the 2010–11 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Red Foxes, led by fourth year head coach Chuck Martin, played their home games at the McCann Arena and were members of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. They finished the season 14–18, 7–11 in MAAC play to finish eighth place. They lost in the quarterfinals of the MAAC tournament to Iona. Previous season The Red Foxes finished the 2010–11 season 6–27, 3–15 in MAAC play to finish in a tie for the ninth place. They advanced to the quarterfinals of the MAAC tournament where they lost to Fairfield. Chuck Martin (basketball)
José Luis "Chuck" Martín is a Puerto Rican college basketball coach who is an assistant coach at the University of Arkansas. Martin was head coach at Marist College from 2008 to 2013. Basketball career As a basketball player, Martin played for the Capitanes de Arecibo of the Baloncesto Superior Nacional (BSN) for five seasons. He was coached by Raymond Dalmau, from whom he learned to be honest with his players, and his assistant Carlos Calcaño whom he credits as a source of inspirational quotes. Players like Eddie Casiano and Javier Antonio Colón impressed Martin as opponents. Dover High School (Delaware)
Dover High School is a high school located in Dover, Delaware. It is a part of the Capital School District. Communities served include the majority of Dover, as well as Cheswold, Hartly, Little Creek, and about half of Leipsic. Dover High School's principal is Shawndell Solomon. Xaverian High School is an independent Catholic high school located in the Bay Ridge neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York, serving grades 6 through 12.
