2011–12 San Francisco Dons Men's Basketball Team
The 2011–12 San Francisco Dons men's basketball team represented the University of San Francisco in the 2011–12 college basketball season. This was head coach Rex Walters fourth season at San Francisco. The Dons played their home games at the War Memorial Gymnasium and are members of the West Coast Conference. They finished the season 20–14, 8–8 in West Coast play to finish in fifth place. They lost in the semifinals of the West Coast Basketball tournament to Saint Mary's. They were invited to the 2012 College Basketball Invitational where they lost in the first round to Washington State. Rex Walters
Rex Andrew Walters Sr. (born March 12, 1970) is an American professional basketball coach and former player who last served as an assistant coach for the Charlotte Hornets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Previously, he was the associate head coach at Wake Forest University under Danny Manning. Prior to Wake Forest, he spent time at Nevada under Eric Musselman. He has made head coaching stops with the Grand Rapids Drive (NBA G-League), the University of San Francisco and Florida Atlantic University. Walters pedigree for coaching began as a player, receiving tutelage from some of the game legendary coaches. Roy Williams (basketball coach), Roy Williams at the University of Kansas and the NBA's Chuck Daly, Larry Brown (basketball), Larry Brown and Pat Riley all mentored Walters during his years as a player. Fishburne Military School
Fishburne Military School (FMS) is a private, military boarding school for boys in Waynesboro, Virginia, United States. It was founded by James A. Fishburne in 1879 and is the oldest military high school in Virginia, and the 13th oldest in the Nation, still in operation today. History James Abbott Fishburne, born in Waynesboro, Virginia, was an honor graduate of Washington College. He taught at Horner Military Academy, Abingdon Male Academy, and several other schools, and also attended Union Theological Seminary for one semester. Inspired by Robert E. Lee, he opened what eventually was to be called Fishburne Military School in 1879 with 24 students. It was accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools in 1897. Willingboro Township (known from 1959 to 1963 as Levittown and Levittown Township) is a township in Burlington County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey.
