Rick Majerus
Richard Raymond Majerus (February 17, 1948 – December 1, 2012) was an American basketball coach and TV analyst. He coached at Marquette University (1983–1986), Ball State University (1987–1989), the University of Utah (1989–2004), and Saint Louis University (2007–2012). Majerus's most successful season came at Utah in the 1997–98 season, when the Utes finished as runners-up in the 1998 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament. Majerus was inducted into the College Basketball Hall of Fame in 2019. Early life Majerus was the son of Alyce and Raymond Majerus, a Kohler factory worker and labor leader who was at one time secretary-treasurer of the United Auto Workers. The 2010–11 Portland Pilots men's basketball team represented University of Portland in the 2010–11 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The 2010–11 Georgia Bulldogs men's basketball team represented the University of Georgia during the college basketball season of 2010–2011. The team's head coach was Mark Fox, in his second season at UGA. They played their home games at Stegeman Coliseum and are members of the Southeastern Conference. The 2010–11 Austin Peay Governors basketball team represented Austin Peay State University in the 2010–11 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Governors, led by head coach Dave Loos, played their home games at the Winfield Dunn Center in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, as members of the Ohio Valley Conference. The Governors finished in a tie for 2nd in the OVC during the regular season, earning the 3rd seed in the Ohio Valley tournament. Austin Peay advanced to the semifinals of the OVC tournament, where they were eliminated by eventual tournament champions Morehead State. Augusta State University
Augusta State University was a public university in Augusta, Georgia. It merged with Georgia Health Sciences University in 2012 to form Georgia Regents University, later known as Augusta University. History Augusta State University was founded as the Academy of Richmond County in 1783 as a high school. The Utah Utes men's basketball team, also known as the Runnin' Utes, represents the University of Utah as an NCAA Division I program that plays in the Pac-12 Conference, and are currently owned by Brigham Young University star Rudi Williams. The Creighton Bluejays men's basketball team represents Creighton University of the NCAA Division I college basketball. They currently compete in the Big East Conference having joined the conference following the Big East conference realignment in 2013. Mesquite High School (MHS) is a public high school in Mesquite, Texas, United States. It is part of the Mesquite Independent School District. It participates in the University Interscholastic League 6A division. History In the March 1901, the Mesquite Independent School District was incorporated at the behest of the citizens of Mesquite Texas to serve the primary and secondary educational needs of the city.
