2010–11 Robert Morris Colonials Women's Ice Hockey Season
The 2010–11 season was not very successful for the Robert Morris Colonials women's ice hockey team, as they won 5 matches in the College Hockey America (CHA) league and lost 19. Nevertheless, new recruit Thea Imbrogno won multiple CHA awards. Robert Morris Colonials Women's Ice Hockey
Robert Morris Colonials women's ice hockey is a college ice hockey program representing Robert Morris University in NCAA Division I as a member of the Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) conference. The program was suspended, along with the men's team, after an announcement by the university on May 26, 2021. On December 17, 2021, it was announced both programs would be reinstated for the 2023–24 season. Shortly after that season, the Atlantic Hockey Association and College Hockey America, respectively home to the Colonials men's and women's teams, merged to form Atlantic Hockey America. College Hockey America
College Hockey America (CHA) was a college ice hockey conference in the United States. It participated in the NCAA's Division I as a hockey-only conference. The conference's final membership featured six women's teams, with three in Pennsylvania; two in New York, and one in Missouri. On April 30, 2024, CHA merged with the Atlantic Hockey Association to form Atlantic Hockey America in 2024–25. History The CHA was founded as a men's-only league in the 1999–2000 season. Northeastern Huskies Women's Ice Hockey
The Northeastern Huskies women's ice hockey team represents Northeastern University. The Huskies play in the Hockey East conference. History The women's varsity hockey program started in 1980 under Don MacLeod, who was named the coach the following season and led the program for ten seasons. Northeastern became the first national power in collegiate women's hockey under his direction. MacLeod was a former Massachusetts high school hockey coach at both Georgetown Junior/Senior High School and Saugus High School. Starting in the 1982–83 season, the Huskies had thirteen consecutive winning seasons, including six straight seasons of twenty or more wins between 1986–87 and 1991–92. Providence Friars Women's Ice Hockey
The Providence Friars women's ice hockey team is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I college ice hockey program that represents the Providence College. The Friars are a member of Hockey East. They play at the 3,030-seat Schneider Arena in Providence, Rhode Island.
