Real Madrid Baloncesto (English: Royal Madrid Basketball) is a Spanish professional basketball club that was founded in 1931, as a division of Real Madrid CF. They play domestically in the Liga ACB, and internationally in the EuroLeague. They are widely regarded as one of the greatest basketball clubs in Europe. Caja Mágica
Caja Mágica (; ), also known as the Manzanares Park Tennis Center, is a multi-purpose stadium located in Madrid, Spain. Since 2009, it has been the home of the Madrid Open tennis tournament. There are three courts under the one structure, and a series of retractable roofs. The seating capacity of Courts 1 and 2 would have been increased if Madrid's bid for the 2020 Summer Olympics had been successful. Construction The main building of the complex is the ''Edificio Madrid Caja Mágica'', a sports venue that houses three arenas. The center clay court, with a maximum capacity for 12,442 spectators, is officially named ''Estadio Manolo Santana''. The second largest court is called ''Estadio Arantxa Sánchez Vicario'' and has 3,194 seats alongside a third smaller court for 2,730 spectators. Sergio Rodríguez Gómez (; born 12 June 1986) is a Spanish former professional basketball player who played for 21 seasons, most notably in the EuroLeague, and for Real Madrid in the Spanish Liga ACB, but also had two short stints in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Pablo Prigioni (born 17 May 1977) is an Argentine-Italian former professional basketball player, currently serving as an assistant coach for the Minnesota Timberwolves. He played the point guard position, and was a member of the senior Argentina national basketball team that won the bronze medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics. Sergi Vidal Plana (born 9 April 1981) is a Spanish retired professional basketball player, who played at the shooting guard and small forward positions. Professional career Vidal signed with the Spanish League giants Real Madrid in August 2009, after having spent nine years with Baskonia, the club with which he was the team captain. Clay Jovon Tucker (June 14, 1980) is an American former professional basketball player. College career Tucker played college basketball at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee from 1998 to 2003 where he and Dylan Page helped the Panthers to their first NCAA Tournament appearance in 2003. Professional career Tucker has bounced around for much of his professional career, playing for several different teams in both the United States and Europe. His most successful season was 2004–05, as a member of the Utah Snowbears in the American Basketball Association. He was Utah's top scorer, averaging over 20 points per game. Novica Veličković ( sr-cyr, Новица Величковић; born 5 October 1986) is a Serbian former professional basketball player who last worked as the team manager for Mega Basket of the Serbian League (KLS) and the ABA League. Carlos Suárez García-Osorio (born May 23, 1986) is a Spanish professional basketball player for Estudiantes of the LEB Oro. He is a tall small forward. D'or Anthony Naheem Fischer (; born October 12, 1981) is an American-Israeli professional basketball who last played for Elitzur Eito Ashkelon of the Israeli National League.
