2010–11 Portsmouth F.C. Season
The 2010–11 season was Portsmouth's first season in the EFL Championship after relegation from the Premier League at the end of the previous season. Season review On 22 October, Portsmouth issued a statement declaring "it appears likely that the club will now be closed down and liquidated by the administrators", but Pompey creditor Alexandre Gaydamak announced the next day that he had reached an agreement that could save their future. Danny Webber
Daniel Vaughn Webber (born 28 December 1981) is an English former professional football striker. He represented England under-20s in 2002. Born in Manchester, Webber began his career as a trainee with Manchester United but failed to cement a first-team place and spent loan spells with Port Vale and Watford before joining Watford permanently. After two years with Watford, Webber joined Sheffield United for the second half of the 2004–05 season. That loan also became a permanent transfer at the end of the season, and during the 2005–06 season, Webber's goals helped Sheffield United to promotion to the Premier League for 2006–07. Hayden Mullins
Hayden Ian Mullins (born 27 March 1979) is an English former professional footballer and current manager. He played primarily as a defensive midfielder, but he also played as a sweeper and at right-back. He is currently the U21 Head Coach at Fulham. Mullins began his career with First Division side Crystal Palace in 1996, and signed his first professional contract with the club in 1998. He quickly established himself in the first team, and made 257 senior appearances for Palace in five seasons. Liam Lawrence (born 14 December 1981) is a former professional footballer who played as a right winger. Lawrence started his career at his local club Mansfield Town, after impressing at the Field Mill he signed for Sunderland in June 2005. Ritchie Ria Alfons De Laet (; born 28 November 1988) is a Belgian former professional footballer who played as a defender. De Laet played for various youth teams before joining the Royal Antwerp youth academy, where he was eventually picked up by Stoke City in 2007.
