2010–11 Chelsea F.C. Season
The 2010–11 season was Chelsea Football Club's 97th competitive season, 19th consecutive season in the Premier League, and 105th year in existence as a football club. They went into the Premier League as the defending champions, but failed to retain it. The club was managed by their Double-winning manager Carlo Ancelotti, but his association with the club would be broken off, being sacked at the end of the season. Chelsea started off the season with a strong five-consecutive-win run in the Premier League, which was eventually halted by Manchester City when City skipper Carlos Tevez scored to lead his side into a 1–0 triumph over the defending champions. Carlo Ancelotti
Carlo Ancelotti (; born 10 June 1959) is an Italian professional football manager and former player who is the manager of the Brazil national team. Nicknamed "Carletto" in Italy and "Don Carlo" in Spain, he is regarded as one of the greatest football managers of all time. Ancelotti has won the UEFA Champions League five times, a record for a manager, and is the only manager to take part in six Champions League finals. Michael Ballack
Michael Ballack (; born 26 September 1976) is a German former professional footballer. He was selected by Pelé as one of FIFA's 100 Greatest Living Players, and as the UEFA Club Midfielder of the Year in 2002.
