The Supercopa de España de Baloncesto ( English: ''Spanish Basketball Supercup'') is a Spanish annual men's professional basketball competition. The competition is a super cup tournament. History The Supercopa was created in 1984 by the recently established Asociación de Clubs de Baloncesto (ACB) in which the league winner faces the cup winner in a single-game final. During its first four editions (1984–1987), the Supercup was also known as Federation Cup, as the tournament was jointly organized by the Spanish Basketball Federation (FEB), and it was held in the middle of the regular season. In 1988–89 season, the Supercup was not played for lack of competitive interest, and finally it was officially cancelled at the beginning of the 1989–90 season. Serhiy Lishchuk (alternate spelling: Sergei Lishouk) ( ua, Сергій Ліщук; born March 31, 1982) is a Ukrainian retired basketball player. Felipe Reyes Cabanás (born March 16, 1980) is a Spanish former professional basketball player. He represented the senior Spain national team. Standing at a height of 2.04 m (6 ft 8 in) tall, and weighing 104 kg (229 lbs.), he plays at the power forward and center positions. Clay Jovon Tucker (June 14, 1980) is a retired American professional player. College career Tucker played college basketball at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee from 1998 to 2003 where he and Dylan Page helped the Panthers to their first NCAA Tournament appearance in 2003. Professional career Tucker has bounced around for much of his professional career, playing for several different teams in both the United States and Europe. Juan Carlos Navarro Feijoo, commonly known as either Juan Carlos Navarro or J. C. Navarro (born June 13, 1980), is a Spanish former professional basketball player.
