2010 SEC Men's Basketball Tournament
The 2010 SEC men's basketball tournament was held March 11–14, 2010 in Nashville, Tennessee at Bridgestone Arena. The first, quarterfinal, and semifinal rounds were televised by SEC Network and the semifinals and finals were broadcast nationwide on ABC, with the exception of the majority of South Carolina markets. The weekend games did not air in the market of the South Carolina Gamecocks in Columbia. ABC affiliate WOLO pre-empted the game and aired the 2010 ACC men's basketball tournament semifinal and final matches instead, per syndication contract with Raycom Sports Raycom Sports is a Charlotte, North Carolina–based producer of sports television programs owned by Gray Media. Bridgestone Arena
Bridgestone Arena (originally Nashville Arena, and formerly Gaylord Entertainment Center and Sommet Center) is a multi-purpose indoor arena in downtown Nashville, Tennessee, United States. Completed in 1996, it is the home of the Nashville Predators of the National Hockey League. 2009–10 Tennessee Volunteers Basketball Team
The 2009–10 Tennessee Volunteers basketball team represented the University of Tennessee in the 2009-10 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. This was the fifth season for Bruce Pearl as the Volunteers' head coach. The team, a member of the Eastern Division of the Southeastern Conference, played its home games at Thompson-Boling Arena. They finished the season 28–9, 11–5 in SEC play and advanced to the semifinals of the 2010 SEC men's basketball tournament before losing to Kentucky. They received an at-large bid to the 2010 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament, earning a 6 seed in the Midwest Region. The 2009–10 Ole Miss Rebels men's basketball team represented the University of Mississippi in the 2009–10 college basketball season. This was head coach Andy Kennedy's fourth season at Ole Miss. The Rebels compete in the Southeastern Conference and played their home games at Tad Smith Coliseum.
