2010 ICC Women's Cricket Challenge
The 2010 ICC Women's Cricket Challenge was an international women's cricket tournament held in South Africa during the International cricket in 2010–11, 2010–11 international season. South Africa national women's cricket team, South Africa, West Indies women's cricket team, West Indies, Pakistan national women's cricket team, Pakistan, Sri Lanka national women's cricket team, Sri Lanka, Netherlands national women's cricket team, Netherlands and Ireland women's cricket team, Ireland took part in the tournament, held in Potchefstroom from 6 to 16 October 2010. International Cricket Council
The International Cricket Council (ICC) is the global Sports governing body, governing body of cricket. Potchefstroom
Potchefstroom ( ; ), colloquially known as Potch, is an college town, academic city in the North West (South African province), North West Province of South Africa. The Witrand Cricket Field is a cricket ground in Potchefstroom, South Africa. It has hosted senior cricket irregularly since 1991, when Western Transvaal hosted Western Province. Net run rate (NRR) is a statistical method used in analysing teamwork and/or performance in cricket. It is the most commonly used method of ranking teams with equal points in limited overs league competitions, similar to goal difference in football. The NRR in a single game is the average runs per over that team scores, minus the average runs per over that is scored against them. The NRR in a tournament is the average runs per over that a team scores across the whole tournament, minus the average runs per over that is scored against them across the whole tournament.
