2010 European Athletics Championships
The 2010 European Athletics Championships were the 20th edition of the European Athletics Championships, organised under the supervision of the European Athletic Association. They were held at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain from 27 July to 1 August 2010. Barcelona was the first Spanish city to host the European Championships. Barni was the mascot of the event, he was the main promotional tool of the Championship. His name comes from Barna and was designed by the workshop Dortoka. Anna Jagaciak
Anna Jagaciak-Michalska (born 10 February 1990 in Zielona Góra) is a retired Polish long and triple jumper. She won three medals in total at Summer Universiades. In addition she finished sixth at the 2017 World Championships and just behind the podium at the 2016 European Championships and 2017 European Indoor Championships. Bianca Kappler
Bianca Kappler (born 8 August 1977) is a German long jumper. Biography Born in Hamburg, she finished ninth at the 2004 Olympic Games. She competed at the World Championships in 2003 and 2005 without reaching the finals. At the 2005 European Indoor Championships her last jump was measured to 6.96 metres, which would have secured her the gold medal by a comfortable margin. However, Kappler admitted to the referees that she could not possibly have jumped 6.96 m, which would be 30 cm further than her personal best at the time. Ksenija Balta (born 1 November 1986) is an Estonian long jumper, sprinter and heptathlete. She won the long jump at the 2009 European Indoor Championships in Athletics. Career Balta finished 14th in pentathlon at the 2005 European Indoor Championships and won the bronze medal in heptathlon at the 2005 European Junior Championships. She also competed in long jump and 100 metres at the 2006 European Championships and in long jump at the 2008 Summer Olympics. Lauma Grīva
Lauma Grīva (born 27 October 1984) was a Latvian Athletics (sport), athlete who competed in the long jump. At the 2010 European Athletics Championships – Women's long jump, 2010 European Championships she achieved a new personal best of 6.60 metres, but was two centimetres short of qualifying for the final.
