2009–10 St Johnstone F.C. Season
St Johnstone F.C., St Johnstone were back in the Scottish Premier League for the first time since 2001–02 Scottish Premier League, 2002 after winning the 2008–09 Scottish First Division. On 15 August 2009, they opened their league season with a 2–1 draw against Motherwell FC, Motherwell at McDiarmid Park, with Murray Davidson getting the opening league goal after 34 minutes. In the 2009–10 Scottish Cup, Scottish Cup, St Johnstone reached the fifth round where they lost by 1–0 to Dundee United F.C., Dundee United. In the 2009–10 Scottish League Cup, League Cup they went all the way to the semi-final where they lost by 2–0 to Rangers FC, Rangers at Hampden Park. Collin Andrew Samuel CM (born 27 August 1981) is a Trinidad and Tobago former professional footballer who played as a winger or striker. Graham Gartland
Graham Gartland (born 13 July 1983) is an Irish football coach and former player. He played for Drogheda United, Shamrock Rovers, Home Farm, Barnsley, Dundee United, St Patrick's Athletic, Longford Town and St Johnstone. Gartland also played for the Republic of Ireland B national football team. Club career Gartland scored a goal for Drogheda in a UEFA Cup tie against HJK Helsinki in August 2006. Peter Ian Ronald MacDonald (born 17 November 1980) is a Scottish professional football coach and a former player who played as a striker. MacDonald started his career with St. Johnstone, who he played with for a decade after signing for the youth academy of Rangers. Graeme Smith (born 3 October 1982) is a Scottish football coach and former player. He played as a goalkeeper for several Scottish clubs, including Kilmarnock, Queens Park, Stenhousemuir, St Johnstone, Peterhead and Raith Rovers. Kevin John Moon (born 8 June 1987) is a Scottish former footballer, who last played as a midfielder for Scottish League Two club Stirling Albion. He began his career with St. Johnstone and was part of the side which gained promotion to the Scottish Premier League in the 2008–09 season. Steven James Stuart Anderson (born 19 December 1985) is a Scottish footballer who plays for Broxburn Athletic. Anderson plays in central defence. Martin Hardie (born 22 April 1976) is a Scottish football coach and former footballer. Hardie started his career with Queen's Park in 1996, subsequently playing for eight different clubs, including two spells at Partick Thistle and also playing for both guises of Airdrieonians. Christopher Alexander Millar (born 30 March 1983) is a Scottish professional football player and coach who plays for Port Glasgow Juniors Millar was in the Celtic youth system, then started his professional career with Greenock Morton.
