2009–10 Oregon Ducks Men's Basketball Team
The 2009–10 Oregon Ducks men's basketball team represented the University of Oregon in the 2009–10 college basketball season. This was head coach Ernie Kent's 13th and final season at Oregon. The Ducks played their home games at McArthur Court and were members of the Pacific-10 Conference. They finished the season 16–16, 7–11 in Pac-10 play and lost in the quarterfinals of the 2010 Pacific-10 Conference men's basketball tournament. They were not invited to a post season tournament and Ernie Kent was fired at the end of the season, leading to an extensive coaching search in the subsequent offseason. Garrett Sim
Garrett Timothy Sim (born July 10, 1990) is an American professional basketball player who last played for Élan Béarnais Pau-Orthez for the French Pro A. College career Sim came to the University of Oregon from Sunset High School, where he posted 23 points and 9 assists per game as a senior. As a freshman at Oregon, he started 26 games and set his career high of 28 points against Utah. He had confidence issues as a sophomore and started five games. After the season coach Ernie Kent was fired but Sim remained loyal to the program. As a senior, he averaged 12.2 points and 2.5 assists per game. Professional career Sim played for Science City Jena in 2013-14 and averaged 20.9 points, 5.7 assists and 1.7 steals per game. Basketball is a sport with five players on the court for each team at a time. Each player is assigned to different Position (team sports), positions defined by the strategic role they play. Guard, forward and center are the three main position categories. The standard team features two guards, two forwards, and a center. Jesuit High School is a private, Catholic, college-preparatory school in Beaverton, Oregon United States. It was founded by the Jesuits in 1956 and uses a Jesuit, college-preparatory curriculum. Hales Franciscan High School (known simply as Hales) was a private 4–year all–male catholic high school located in the Bronzeville neighborhood on the south side of Chicago, Illinois. Renaissance High School (Michigan)
Renaissance High School is a public, magnet high school in the city of Detroit, Michigan. Founded in 1978 on the former site of Catholic Central High School, Renaissance graduated its first senior class in 1981. In 2005, a new building was dedicated at the site of the former Sinai Hospital. Renaissance is one of four magnet high schools in the Detroit Public Schools district; (the others being Cass Technical High School, Detroit School of Arts, and Communication & Media Arts High School).
