2009–10 Milwaukee Panthers Men's Basketball Team
The 2009–10 Milwaukee Panthers men's basketball team represented the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee during the 2009–10 college basketball season. They were led by head coach Rob Jeter. The Panthers competed in the Horizon League and played their home games at US Cellular Arena. They finished the season 20–14, 10–8 in Horizon play and lost in the semifinals of the 2010 Horizon League men's basketball tournament. Rob Jeter
Robert DeLafayette Jeter III (born May 15, 1969) is an American college basketball coach and current head coach at Southern Utah. Personal life Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Jeter grew up in Chicago. His father, Bob (1937–2008), was a Rose Bowl MVP as a halfback for the Iowa Hawkeyes and a second round pick in the 1960 NFL draft. He was later a defensive back in the NFL for the Green Bay Packers under Vince Lombardi and a member of the Packer Hall of Fame and Rose Bowl Hall of Fame. His brother, Carlton Jeter, played basketball alongside him at UW–Platteville. His uncle, Tony Jeter, played football at Nebraska under head coach Bob Devaney and was a tight end in the NFL for two seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers. McFarland High School (Wisconsin)
McFarland High School is a high school located in McFarland, in Dane County, Wisconsin. It is administered by the McFarland School District. The school's colors are Columbia blue, navy blue, and white and the mascot is the Spartan. Academics In 2016, a referendum to fund facility improvements was approved by voters. The referendum includes, a new baseball complex, auditorium, track, aquatic pool, and artificial turf for the football field. The football field, track, and baseball complex were completed in 2018. A new pool and auditorium were completed in 2019. Athletics Since the 2008-09 school year, McFarland teams have competed in the WIAA Rock Valley Conference. Vel Phillips Memorial High School (formerly James Madison Memorial High School (JMM) ) or simply "VPM" is a public high school on the west side of Madison, Wisconsin, United States. Anthony Meier (born June 3, 1990) is an American basketball player for Wilki Morskie Szczecin of the Polish Basketball League (PLK). After four years at the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee, Meier entered the 2012 NBA draft but went undrafted.
