The 2009–10 IIHF European Women's Champions Cup was the sixth holding of the IIHF European Women's Champions Cup, IIHF European Women Champions Cup (EWCC). Tornado Moscow Region of the Russian Women's Hockey League won the tournament for the first time, becoming the second consecutive Russian team to claim the title. Round-robin Tournament
A round-robin tournament or all-play-all tournament is a competition format in which each contestant meets every other participant, usually in turn.''Webster's Third New International Dictionary of the English Language, Unabridged'' (1971, G. & C.
