2009–10 Conference USA Men's Basketball Season
The 2009–10 Conference USA men's basketball season marked the 15th season of Conference USA basketball. Preseason In a vote of league coaches, Tulsa center Jerome Jordan headed up the preseason All-CUSA team and was named preseason conference player of the year. On October 29, Jordan was named to the Naismith Award watch list. Jordan's teammate Ben Uzoh was named to the 30-man preseason candidate list for the Lowe's Senior CLASS Award. Aubrey Coleman
Aubrey Gene Coleman (born October 9, 1987) is an American former professional basketball player. He played college basketball as an all-Conference USA player for the University of Houston where he became the NCAA's leading scorer for the 2010 season. Career Early years Coleman attended high school at Thurgood Marshall High School, though never played on the team. After graduating, he attended Gulf Shores Academy, and then junior college at Southwest Mississippi Community College. College Coleman played as a guard for Houston under the jersey number 12, and majored in sociology. Marshall Thundering Herd Men's Basketball
The Marshall Thundering Herd men's basketball team represents Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia, United States. They compete in the National Collegiate Athletic Association, NCAA Division I (NCAA), Division I as a member of the Sun Belt Conference. The Thundering Herd are led by head coach Cornelius Jackson and play their home games at the on-campus Cam Henderson Center which opened in 1981. Hassan Whiteside
Hassan Niam Whiteside (born June 13, 1989) is an American professional basketball player for the Cangrejeros de Santurce of the Baloncesto Superior Nacional (BSN). He played college basketball for the Marshall Thundering Herd before being selected in the second round by the Sacramento Kings in the 2010 NBA draft. After joining the Miami Heat in 2014, Whiteside was named to the NBA All-Defensive Second Team in 2016, when he also led the NBA in blocks. He led the league in rebounding in 2017. The Memphis Tigers men's basketball team represents the University of Memphis in NCAA Division I men's college basketball. The Tigers have competed in the American Athletic Conference since 2013. As of 2020, the Tigers had the 26th highest winning percentage in National Collegiate Athletic Association, NCAA history. The UCF Knights men's basketball team represents The University of Central Florida, located in unincorporated Orange County, Florida near Orlando, United States.
