Yokohama Arena
is an indoor arena located in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. The capacity of the arena is 17,000 and was opened in 1989. The arena was modeled after US sports venue Madison Square Garden in New York City. It is a five-minute walk from the closest station, Shin-Yokohama Station on the Japan Railways Group, JR/Yokohama Municipal Subway. As one of the largest concert venues in the Kantō region, it is a frequent location for artists to end their tours. The spacious stage allows for more complex set design and lighting, but the reasonable size makes it easier to sell out than the Tokyo Dome. History The Yokohama Arena was opened on April 1, 1989. Ai Fukuhara
is a retired Japanese table tennis player and Olympic medalist, winning silver at the 2012 Summer Olympics and bronze at the 2016 Summer Olympics with the Japanese women's team. Wu Jiaduo ( zh, s=吴佳多, t=吳佳多; born 19 September 1977) is a Chinese-born German table tennis player. Personal At age seven, Wu received specialised table tennis training. In 1995, she became the Zhejiang provincial champion. She enrolled at the East China University of Science and Technology in 1997, studying economics. Elke Schall,(born 19 July 1973 in Speyer) is a professional table tennis player from Germany. She has an offensive, looping style. She competed at five consecutive Olympics from 1992 to 2008. Her doubles partner at the first four Olympics was Nicole Struse, with whom she won the European Championships in 1996 and 1998. She was part of the German team that came third in 1997 and sixth in 2004 at the World Championships and three podium finishes at the European Championships in 2000, 2002, and 2007. Georgina Póta (; born 13 January 1985 in Budapest) is a multiple European Champion table tennis player from Hungary. Career Póta was born in the Hungary, Hungarian capital Budapest in 1985 and began practicing table tennis in 1990. Between 1994 and 2008 she played for Statisztika PSC in Hungary, subsequently she moved to TTC Berlin Eastside.
