2009 Tercera División Play-offs
The 2009 Tercera División play-offs to Segunda División B from Tercera División (Promotion play-offs) were the final playoffs for the promotion from 2008–09 Tercera División to 2009–10 Segunda División B. The first four teams in each group (excluding reserve teams) took part in the play-off. New Format To start with, the eighteen group winners had the opportunity to be promoted directly to Segunda División B. The eighteen group winners were drawn into a two-legged series where the nine winners promoted to Segunda División B. The nine losing clubs entered the play-off round for the last nine promotion spots. The eighteen runners-up were drawn against one of the seventeen fourth-placed clubs outside their group and the eighteen third-placed clubs were drawn against one another in a two-legged series. 2008–09 Tercera División
The 2008–09 Tercera División was the fourth tier of football in Spain. Play started on 30 August 2008 and ended on 28 June 2009 with the promotion play-off finals. Overview There were 363 clubs competing in Tercera División (Third division) in the 2008–09 season, divided into 18 regional groups, each accommodating between 20 and 21 clubs. Caravaca CF
Caravaca Club de Fútbol was a Spanish football team based in Caravaca de la Cruz, in the Region of Murcia. Founded in 1967 and dissolved in 2011, it held home games at ''Estadio Antonio Martínez El Morao'', with a capacity of 2,000 spectators. History ''Caravaca Club de Fútbol'' was founded on 1 November 1967 (after previous denominations as ''Deportiva Caravaqueña'' and ''Caravaca Football Club''), first reaching ''Tercera División'' in 1980, and lasting six seasons.
