The 2009 FIVB Women's World Grand Champions Cup was held in Tokyo and Fukuoka, Japan from November 10 to November 15, 2009. Italy won the tournament with perfect record and Simona Gioli was selected Most Valuable Player. Serena Ortolani
Serena Ortolani (born 7 January 1987 in Ravenna) is an Italian volleyball player. Career She has played as an opposite hitter for Foppapedretti Bergamo from 2008 to 2011. Her debut for the national team came on the 2005 edition of the European Championships, held in Croatia, when the team was then coached by Marco Bonitta. In the 2005/06 season, she won her first Coppa Italia and Scudetto with Foppapedretti Bergamo. In 2006, she was selected again for the national team for the 2006 FIVB Women's World Championship, held in Japan, where she helped Italy win fourth place. She began the 2006/2007 season for Bergamo, but after the first half of the season, she was loaned to Rebecchi Piacenza, to improve her game further. 2009 In Women's Volleyball

Fabiana "Fabi" Alvim de Oliveira (born 7 March 1980) is a Brazilian retired volleyball player who won the gold medal at the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics. Career Fabiana started playing volleyball at the age of 13, specializing in defense - and later the libero position - due to her short height. De Oliveira was first called up to the Brazil women's national volleyball team in 2002, under coach Marco Aurélio Motta. She lost her place under his replacement, José Roberto Guimarães, and only returned to being a mainstay of the team in 2005. At the 2007 Pan American Games, held in Rio de Janeiro, de Oliveira and the Brazilian team won the silver medal. Yoshie Takeshita
Yoshie Takeshita (竹下 佳江 ''Takeshita Yoshie'', born March 18, 1978) is a retired Japanese volleyball player who played for JT Marvelous. She served as the head coach of Japanese volleyball team Victorina Himeji. and now serves as Executive Adviser. Takeshita played for the All-Japan women's volleyball team and was a participant at the 2004 Summer Olympics, 2008 Summer Olympics and 2012 Olympics. At the 2012 Olympics, she was part of the Japanese team that won the bronze medal. She was also part of the 2010 Japanese Women's team that won bronze at the world championships, beating the US in the bronze medal match. Malika Kanthong (, born January 8, 1987) is a member of the Thailand women's national volleyball team. Kim Yeon-Koung
Kim Yeon-koung (, ; born 26 February 1988) is a Korean people, South Korean professional volleyball player and a former member of the FIVB Athletes' Commission. She is an outside hitter and the former captain of the South Korea women's national volleyball team, South Korean National Team. She announced her retirement from the national team in August 2021. Massimo Barbolini (born 29 August 1964) is an Italian volleyball coach. He is coach of Italy (W), and Galatasaray (W). Coaching Italy women's national volleyball team, he has won the 2007 and 2009 Women's European Volleyball Championship.
