2009 FA Women's Cup Final
The 2009 FA Women's Cup Final was the 39th final of the FA Women's Cup, England's primary cup competition for women's football teams. It was the 16th final to be held under the direct control of the Football Association (FA). The final was contested between Arsenal and Sunderland at Pride Park Stadium in Derby on 4 May 2009. Arsenal won the game 2–1 to secure their fourth successive FA Cup triumph and their tenth in total. The match was attended by a crowd of 23,291. FA Women's Premier League Northern Division
The FA Women's National League North is a football league at the third tier of women's football in England. Together with the National League South, the two leagues form the highest division of the National League. Established in 1991 as the WFA National League Northern Division, before a name change to the FA Premier League Northern Division in 1994, the league, along with the Southern Division, formed the second tier of women's football until 2010. The league champion was promoted to the National Division, while the bottom two teams were originally relegated to the regional leagues, prior to the introduction of the Combination Leagues in 1998. Kelly McDougall
Kelly Marie McDougall (born 22 January 1984) is an English former international footballer. She played in midfield for Everton Ladies and Sunderland Women. Club career McDougall joined Everton aged 12, and also played youth football for Knowsley and Rainhill United. She continued to play for Everton while attending the National Player Development Centre at Loughborough University and was an unused substitute when the club won the 2008 FA Women's Premier League Cup. That August McDougall left Everton after 10 years in the team to sign for Sunderland Women in the FA Women's Premier League Northern Division. Niamh Fahey
Niamh Fahey ( ; born 13 October 1987) is an Irish professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder or centre-back for Women's Super League club Liverpool, which she captains, and formerly the Republic of Ireland national team.
