Scunthorpe () is an industrial town in Lincolnshire, England, and the county's third most populous settlement after Lincoln, England, Lincoln and Grimsby, with a population of 81,286 in 2021. It is the administrative centre and largest settlement of the North Lincolnshire district. Scunthorpe lies north of Lincoln and is between Grimsby to the east and Doncaster to the west, while Kingston upon Hull, Hull is to the north-east via the Humber Bridge. Andy Crosby
Andrew Keith Crosby (born 3 March 1973) is an English professional football manager and former player who is the manager at club Tranmere Rovers. A defender during his playing days, he began his career at Leeds United. Still, he made his debut in the English Football League after joining Doncaster Rovers in July 1991. He spent two-and-a-half seasons with Rovers before moving on to Darlington in December 1993, following a brief loan spell with Halifax Town. Marcus Vincent Williams (born 8 April 1986) is an English professional footballer who plays as a left back. Williams started his career at Scunthorpe United before moving to Reading and then to Sheffield United. Williams has signed for Scunthorpe on four occasions, twice on a permanent contract and twice on loan, as well as spending a short period on loan with Peterborough United. Kenneth Milne (born 26 August 1979) is a Scottish former professional footballer. Career Despite his 6'3" stature, Milne actually started his career as a left winger with Heart of Midlothian whom he signed for from Rangers Boys Club in 1995. He was loaned to Cowdenbeath for the 1998–99 season before making his Hearts debut the following year. Joseph Murphy (born 21 August 1981) is an Irish professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for club Tranmere Rovers. Murphy began his career with Tranmere Rovers, and has since represented eight other clubs, making over 500 appearances in the Football League and playing twice in the Premier League for West Bromwich Albion in 2002. Martyn Paul Woolford (born 13 October 1985) is an English former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He has played in the Football League for Scunthorpe United, Bristol City, Millwall, Sheffield United, Fleetwood Town and Grimsby Town.
