The 2008 African Women's Handball Championship was the 18th edition of the African Women's Handball Championship, held in Angola from 8 to 17 January 2008. It acted as the African qualifying tournament for the 2009 World Women's Handball Championship and the Handball at the 2008 Summer Olympics, 2008 Summer Olympics. In team sports, a most valuable player award, abbreviated 'MVP award', is an honor typically bestowed upon an individual (or individuals, in the instance of a tie) whose individual performance is the greatest in an entire league, for a particular competition, or on a specific team.
