2007–08 Syracuse Orange Men's Basketball Team
The 2007–08 Syracuse Orange men's basketball team represented Syracuse University. The team's head coach was Jim Boeheim, serving for his 32nd year. They played its home games at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse, New York. The team finished with a 21–14 (9–9) record, while making it to the quarterfinal round of the NIT tournament. Junior Eric Devendorf was the team's elder classman for 2007–08 squad, starting at shooting guard. Sophomores Arinze Onuaku (center), and Paul Harris (guard/forward) and standout freshmen Donté Greene (forward) and Jonny Flynn (guard) rounded out the rest of the starting lineup. Following an injury to Devendorf, guard Scoop Jardine stepped in and Kristof Ongenaet also saw time in the starting lineup. Big East Conference (1979–2013)
The Big East Conference was a List of college athletic conferences, collegiate athletics conference that consisted of as many as 16 universities in the eastern half of the United States from 1979 to 2013. The conference's members participated in 24 National Collegiate Athletic Association, NCAA sports. Kristof Ongenaet
Kristof Ongenaet (born 29 April 1985) is a forward from Ghent, Belgium, who is a former player for the Syracuse Orange. He played for Sutor Basket Montegranaro in the Italian-based Lega Basket Serie A league. Team Belgium Before arriving at Cuesta College, Ongenaet had been a member of the Belgium National Junior Team. Junior College Prior to attending Syracuse University, Ongenaet played for Cuesta College, a community college in San Luis Obispo, California.
