The 2007–08 season was the 116th season in Liverpool Football Club's existence, and their 46th consecutive year in the top flight, which covers the period from 1 July 2007 to 30 June 2008. Having finished third the previous season, Liverpool had qualified for the UEFA Champions League final qualifying stage. Stephen John Finnan (born 24 April 1976) is an Irish former international footballer who played as a right-back. He is the only player to have played in the World Cup, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Cup, Intertoto Cup, all four levels of the English league football and the Football Conference.
