2007–08 Eastern Michigan Eagles Men's Basketball Team
The 2007–08 Eastern Michigan Eagles men's basketball team represented Eastern Michigan University during the 2007–08 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Eagles, led by 3rd year head coach Charles E. Ramsey, played their home games at the Eastern Michigan University Convocation Center and were members of the West Division of the Mid-American Conference. They finished the season 14–17, 8–8 in MAC play. They team finished 2nd in the MAC West. They were knocked out in the 2nd round of the MAC Tournament by Western Michigan. The team captains were Carlos Medlock, Travis Lewis and Jesse Bunkley. Charles Ramsey (basketball)
Charles Edward Ramsey (born March 25, 1961) is an American athlete and college basketball coach. He is the former head men's basketball coach at Eastern Michigan University. Early life Ramsey was born in Ypsilanti, Michigan and graduated from Ypsilanti High School in 1979, where he played on the baseball, basketball and football teams. He played collegiately for Fisk University from 1979 to 1981, and was named All-American. In 1992, Ramsey graduated from Eastern Michigan University. Ramsey was inducted into the Ypsilanti High School Athletic Hall of Fame where he was a 3 sport athlete in Football, Basketball, and Baseball. He was a member of Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity, initiated at Delta Nu chapter. Career He has been an assistant basketball coach at the University of California, Drake University, Tennessee State and the University of Michigan. Auburn Hills is a city in Oakland County in the U.S. state of Michigan. A northern suburb of Detroit, Auburn Hills is located about north of downtown Detroit. OU Credit Union O'rena, nicknamed "The Blacktop", is a 4,000-seat multi-purpose arena in Auburn Hills, Michigan with a Rochester mailing address. It is home to the Oakland University Golden Grizzlies men's basketball, women's basketball and volleyball teams. The court has a distinctive "blacktop" color first used in the 2015–16 season. The 2007–08 Oakland Golden Grizzlies men's basketball team represented Oakland University in the 2007–08 college basketball season. Oakland Golden Grizzlies men's basketball, Oakland was coached by Greg Kampe and played their home games at the Athletics Center O'rena. The Radford Highlanders men's basketball represents Radford University in NCAA Division I intercollegiate men's basketball competition. Northwood University (NU) is a private university focused on business education with its main campus in Midland, Michigan, United States. Opened in 1959, more than 33,000 people have graduated from the institution. History Northwood University opened as Northwood Institute in 1959 by Arthur E. Turner and R. Gary Stauffer.
