The 2007–08 Arizona Wildcats men's basketball team represented the University of Arizona during the 2007–08 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. Kevin O'Neill (basketball)
Kevin James O'Neill (born January 24, 1957) is an American basketball coach with experience as the head coach of various College basketball, college and National Basketball Association (NBA) teams. Most recently he was the coach of the USC Trojans men's basketball, USC Trojans basketball team. O'Neill was born in Malone (village), New York, Malone, New York and attended McGill University in Montreal, Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He lettered in basketball for three years in college, 1976–79, and in 1978 the McGill Redman had a school-record 28 win season and entered the Canadian Interuniversity Sport men's basketball championship tournament. He graduated from McGill in 1979 with a bachelor's degree in education, and later earned his master's degree in secondary education from Marycrest College Historic District, Marycrest College in 1983, where he also served as head coach of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, NAIA basketball team for the 1982–83 season. Lawrence is a city in and the county seat of Douglas County, Kansas, United States, and the sixth-largest city in the state. Allen Fieldhouse
Allen Fieldhouse is an indoor arena on the University of Kansas (KU) campus in Lawrence, Kansas. It is home of the Kansas Jayhawks men's and women's basketball teams. The arena is named after Phog Allen, a former player and head coach for the Jayhawks whose tenure lasted 39 years. The arena's nickname, The Phog also pays homage to Allen. Allen Fieldhouse is one of college basketball's most historically significant and prestigious buildings. 37 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Tournament games have been hosted at the arena. 2007–08 Kansas Jayhawks Men's Basketball Team
The 2007–08 Kansas Jayhawks men's basketball team represented the University of Kansas for the NCAA Division I men's intercollegiate basketball season of 2007–08, which was the Jayhawks' 110th Season. The team was led by Bill Self in his 5th season as head coach. The team played its home games in Allen Fieldhouse in Lawrence, Kansas. The Jayhawks finished the season 37–3, 13–3 in Big 12 play to finish tied for first place. They defeated Nebraska, Texas Tech, and Texas A&M to win the Big 12 tournament championship. As a result, they received the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament as the No. 1 seed in the Midwest region. Adams State College
Adams State University is a public university in Alamosa, Colorado, United States. The university's Adams State Grizzlies athletic teams compete in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. History Adams State was founded in 1921 as a teacher's college. Billy Adams, a Colorado legislator who would later become a three-term governor of Colorado, worked for three decades before obtaining the authorization to found Adams State Normal School in 1921, to provide higher education opportunities for teachers from remote and rural areas of Colorado, such as the San Luis Valley, and see them work in those same areas. UMKC Kangaroos Men's Basketball
The Kansas City Roos men's basketball team represents the University of Missouri–Kansas City in Kansas City, Missouri. Starting off in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), the Roos moved to the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I level in 1987 as an independent. They played in the Mid-Continent Conference/Summit League from 1994-2013 until they moved to the Western Athletic Conference (WAC). Fox Sports Networks (FSN), formerly known as Fox Sports Net, was the collective name for a group of regional sports channels in the United States. Formed in 1996 by News Corporation, the networks were acquired by the Walt Disney Company on March 20, 2019, following its acquisition of 21st Century Fox. The 2007–08 Virginia Cavaliers men's basketball team is an NCAA Division I college basketball team competing in the Atlantic Coast Conference.
