2007 PBA Draft
The 2007 Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) rookie draft was an event at which teams drafted players from the amateur ranks. The event was held at Market! Market! in Taguig on August 19, 2007. The Welcoat Dragons drafted Joe Devance of the University of Texas at El Paso and Toyota-Balintawak Road Kings to be the #1 draft pick. Round 1 Round 2 Red Bull's two picks (supposedly 17th and 19th), and Talk 'N Text (supposedly 18th) were passed. Market! Market! (also known as Ayala Malls Market! Market!) is a shopping mall complex developed by Ayala Land, the real estate subsidiary of Ayala Corporation, on a lot leased from Bases Conversion and Development Authority, a government-owned and controlled corporation. It is operated by its subsidiary, Ayala Malls. It is located at McKinley Parkway, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, Philippines. Groundbreaking was conducted in August 2002 and the mall opened on September 16, 2004. The mall caters to the middle market, unlike other Ayala malls, which cater to the upper socioeconomic class. Samigue Eman
Samigue Eman (born March 12, 1981) is a Filipino former professional basketball player. He last played for the Alaska Aces of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). Eman was the 2nd overall draft pick of the Magnolia Beverage Masters in the 2007 PBA draft. In 2004, following his participation in the "Try-Outs ng Bayan" program, the University of Mindanao released Eman to join the Philippine National Men's team RP-Cebuana Lhuillier. On his first two years and a conference with the San Miguel Beermen, he only played sporadically. But, after being acquired by the Aces during the 2010 PBA Fiesta Conference, he was able to showcase his skills as a rebounder and low-post defender and played more minutes. Alaska Aces (PBA)
The Alaska Aces were a professional basketball team in the Philippine Basketball Association since 1986 PBA season, 1986 under the ownership of Alaska Milk Corporation (AMC) and the owner of 14 PBA championships, tied with the Magnolia Hotshots for the third-most titles overall. They were one of the most popular teams in the league and the Philippines. Karl Kenneth Odani Bono (born June 19, 1984) is a Filipino basketball player who plays for the Mindoro Tamaraws of the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL). He played collegiate basketball for the Adamson Soaring Falcons in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) from 2003 to 2006 and was named the league's Most Valuable Player in his final season before being selected sixth overall by the Alaska Aces in the 2007 PBA draft. The Magnolia Chicken Timplados Hotshots, or simply known as the Magnolia Hotshots, are a professional basketball team in the Philippine Basketball Association. The team is owned by San Miguel Food and Beverage, San Miguel Food and Beverage, Inc., a subsidiary of San Miguel Corporation (SMC). The team is one of three PBA ball clubs currently owned by the SMC group of companies, along with Barangay Ginebra San Miguel and the San Miguel Beermen. Douglas Rimorin Kramer (born July 10, 1983) is a Filipino former basketball player. Playing power forward for the Ateneo Blue Eagles, he then played for eight teams in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). Early life Kramer grew up in Baguio. His father was an oil engineer, while his mother stayed at home. He studied at a Christian school in his high school years. College career Ateneo Blue Eagles In his rookie season, the Eagles won the Season 65 championship. In UAAP Season 68, Kramer had a season-high 18 points alongside 12 rebounds and two blocks in a win over the NU Bulldogs. That season, Ateneo reached the semifinals. The Barako Bull Energy were a Philippine Basketball Association that began in 2002 as the FedEx Express. From its first season until 2005, the team was dubbed as the FedEx Express before changing to Air21 Express. From the 2009 PBA Fiesta Conference until the 2009–10 PBA Philippine Cup, it became known as the Burger King Titans. Ryan Jay Reyes (born August 10, 1983) is a Filipino-American professional basketball player for TNT Tropang 5G of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA).
