2007 Men's Pan-American Volleyball Cup
The 2007 Men's Pan-American Volleyball Cup was the second edition of the annual men's volleyball tournament, played by seven teams from North American countries from June 1 to June 9, 2007 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The event served as a qualifier for the 2008 America's Cup in Brazil. The winner of each pool automatically advanced to the semi-finals and the teams placed in second and third met in crossed matches in the quarterfinals round. Mexico win the event. Men's Pan-American Volleyball Cup
The Men's Pan-American Volleyball Cup is a men's volleyball tournament organized by NORCECA. Initially, only NORCECA teams participated, but CSV teams have been invited since 2010. The event served as a qualifier for FIVB Volleyball World League, World League and the America Cup of Volleyball, America's Cup. Now, the event serves as an America qualifier for the Pan American Games classification. The women have their own equivalent of the tournament, the Women's Pan-American Volleyball Cup, Women's Pan-American Cup. Volleyball
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the program at the Atlanta 1996 Summer Olympics. The adapted version of volleyball at the Summer Paralympic Games is sitting volleyball. He participated with the men's national team in the 2007 NORCECA Championship in Anaheim, United States. His team finished in 5th place and he was awarded the "Best Libero" award.
