The 2007 Internationaux de Nouvelle-Calédonie was a professional tennis tournament played on hard courts. It was the fourth edition of the tournament which was part of the 2007 ATP Challenger Series. Hardcourt
A hardcourt (or hard court) is a type of surface or floor on which a sport is played, most usually in reference to tennis courts. It is typically made of rigid materials such as asphalt or concrete, and covered with acrylic resins to seal the surface and mark the playing lines, while providing some cushioning. Historically, hardwood surfaces were also in use in indoor settings, similar to an indoor basketball court, but these surfaces are rare now. Tennis Tennis hard courts are made of synthetic/acrylic layers on top of a concrete or asphalt foundation and can vary in color. These courts tend to play medium-fast to fast because there is little energy absorption by the court, as with grass courts but unlike clay courts. The ball tends to bounce high and players are able to apply many types of spin during play. Noam Okun
Noam Okun (; born 16 April 1978) is an Israeli retired professional tennis player. He reached a career-high singles ranking of World No. 95 in April 2002. Okun won several challenger tournaments in his career, and was a consistent competitor on the ATP tour, often qualifying for Grand Slam events. He, Harel Levy, and Dudi Sela were Israel's top singles players for a number of years. Okun trained at the Israel Tennis Centers. Early life Okun was born in Haifa, Israel. His parents are Igor (who works for Israeli Electric Company) and Galit (an assistant to an orthopedic doctor), and he is Jewish. Thierry Ascione (; born 17 January 1981) is an ATP tennis coach and a former professional player from France. He reached a career-high singles ranking of World No. 81 in February 2004. Pro career He turned pro in 2000 and retired in September 2010. David Guez
David Guez (born 8 December 1982) is a French former tennis player. He achieved a career-high singles ranking of World No. 116 in July 2010. In 2025, Guez was banned from professional tennis for four years and a $25,000 fine ($17,500 suspended) after admitting to match fixing tennis matches played in 2017 and 2018. Career At the 2009 Grand Prix de Tennis de Lyon he won with Rajeev Ram and reached to the second round, where he lost with Gilles Simon. Benjamin Balleret (born 15 January 1983) is a professional tennis player from Monaco. Balleret is a member of the Monaco Davis Cup team. Personal life His father, Bernard Balleret, stepmother Alexia Dechaume-Balleret, and aunt Virginie Paquet are also former tennis players. Scott Oudsema
Scott Oudsema (born July 1, 1986) is a former professional tennis player from the United States. Career Oudsema partnered Phillip Simmonds to win the doubles at the 2002 Orange Bowl. He also competed with Simmonds at the 2003 Australian Open and the pair won the boys' doubles title. In 2004, Oudsema won a further three junior Grand Slam tournaments, the Australian Open, Wimbledon Championships and US Open, all with Brendan Evans. In the only Grand Slam the pair didn't win, the French Open, they were semi-finalists.
