2007 Centurion Boats At The Glen
The 2007 Centurion Boats at the Glen was the twenty-second race of the 2007 NASCAR Nextel Cup Season, and was run on Sunday, August 12, 2007 at Watkins Glen Raceway in New York. This road course race was one of only two races scheduled in NASCAR's premier series not on oval-shaped tracks, and was the ninth race that featured NASCAR's Car of Tomorrow, a safety-driven automobile that is being used in the 2008 season full-time. 2007 NASCAR Nextel Cup Series
The 2007 NASCAR Nextel Cup Series was the 59th season of professional stock car racing in the United States and the 36th modern-era Cup series. Beginning on February 10 at Daytona International Speedway with the Budweiser Shootout, the season ended on November 18 at Homestead-Miami Speedway with the Ford 400. The Chase for the Nextel Cup started with the Sylvania 300 at New Hampshire International Speedway and was contested over the final ten races. The season was the final year that the NASCAR Cup Series was known as the ''Nextel Cup Series''. Boris Said III (born September 18, 1962) is an American semi-retired professional racing driver. He last competed part-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, driving the No. 66 Ford Mustang for MBM Motorsports and in the Trans-Am Series, driving the No. 2 Dodge for Weaver Technologies Racing. Said has competed in a variety of disciplines including sports cars, stock cars, and touring cars. The 2007 3M Performance 400 was the 23rd race in the 2007 NASCAR season was scheduled to be held on Sunday, August 19, 2007 at Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn, Michigan. Bill Davis Racing was a racing team that participated in all three of NASCAR's top divisions until 2009. The team had run Toyota-branded stock cars and trucks in the Camping World Truck Series (Toyota Tundra) since 2004 and Sprint Cup Series (Toyota Camry) since 2007.
