2006–07 Stanford Cardinal Men's Basketball Team
The 2006–07 Stanford Cardinal men's basketball team represented Stanford University during the 2006–07 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Cardinal were led by third year head coach Trent Johnson, and played their home games at Maples Pavilion as a member of the Pacific-10 Conference. Previous season The Cardinal finished the 2005–06 season 16–14, 11–7 in Pac-10 play to finish tied for fourth place, losing the tiebreaker against Arizona (0-2 versus Arizona). They lost in the quarterfinals of the Pac-10 tournament to the fourth seed Arizona 73–68. Trent Johnson
Trent Aubrey Johnson (born September 12, 1956) is a former American college basketball coach. Johnson had previously been the head coach at Cal State University Northridge, Texas Christian University, Louisiana State University, Stanford University, and University of Nevada. Early life and education Johnson was born in Berkeley, California. He graduated from Franklin High School in Seattle, Washington in 1974 and played at Boise State University from 1974 to 1978. He received his bachelor's degree in physical education from Boise State in 1983. Coaching career Nevada The University of Nevada, Reno hired Johnson as head coach for Nevada Wolf Pack men's basketball on March 7, 1999. Landry Addison Fields (born June 27, 1988) is an American professional basketball executive and former player. He is the former general manager of the Atlanta Hawks of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Fields played five seasons in the NBA for the New York Knicks and Toronto Raptors from 2010 through 2015. Early life Fields was born in Long Beach, California, to Steve and Janice Fields. San Francisco Dons Men's Basketball
The San Francisco Dons men's basketball team represents the University of San Francisco in NCAA Division I men's college basketball. The Dons compete in the West Coast Conference, where they have won sixteen regular season championships and one conference tournament championship. The current head coach is Chris Gerlufsen. They play home games at the War Memorial Gymnasium, which also serves as the venue for women's basketball, volleyball, athletic department offices, and athletic training rooms. Brook Robert Lopez (born April 1, 1988) is an American professional basketball player for the Milwaukee Bucks of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Calallen High School is a public high school serving grades 9–12. The school is located in the Calallen Independent School District in northwest Corpus Christi, Texas, United States. Background Calallen's name comes from Calvin Joseph (Cal) Allen (1859–1922), a prominent early rancher. Allen owned a cattle ranch on which the Calallen Independent School District is now located.
