2006–07 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy
The 2006–07 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy was one of three first-class domestic cricket competitions that were held in Pakistan during the 2006–07 season. The Quaid-e-Azam Trophy was contested by thirteen teams representing regional associations; it was preceded in the schedule by the Patron's Trophy (Grade-I), contested by nine departmental teams, and followed later in the season by the Pentangular Cup, which unlike the previous year did not involve teams from the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy. There was no change to the structure of the competition from the previous season, with seven teams in the Gold League and six teams in the Silver League. Each league was played in a round-robin of four-day matches beginning on 6 January 2007, with a final played over five days between the top two teams to determine the winner. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), formerly known as Board of Control for Cricket in Pakistan (BCCP), is a sports governing body for cricket in Pakistan responsible for controlling and organising all tours and matches undertaken by the Pakistan national cricket team. Rawalpindi Cricket Team
Rawalpindi cricket team is a first-class cricket team that represents Rawalpindi, Punjab. The team's home ground is Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Rawalpindi. They participate in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy. They were refounded in the 2023/24 season after a revamp of the domestic structure. Playing record 1950s and 1960s Rawalpindi played their first two matches in 1958–59 in the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy, drawing the first and winning the second against Peshawar. Not Out
In cricket, a batsman is not out if they come out to bat in an innings and have not been dismissed by the end of an innings. The batsman is also ''not out'' while their innings is still in progress. Occurrence At least one batter is not out at the end of every innings, because once ten batters are out, the eleventh has no partner to bat on with, so the innings ends. Hasan Raza (cricketer, Born 1982)
Hasan Raza (Urdu: حسن رضا; born 11 March 1982) is a Pakistani former cricketer who played for the Pakistan national cricket team between 1996 and 2005. He initially was subject to something of a claim for an international cricketing record, as his debut performance was believed to have taken place at the age of 14 years and 233 days, then a world-record, sparking investigations over the legitimacy of his age claims. He was soon taken away from international play after struggling initially in the early 2000s, but was recalled against Australia and Zimbabwe in 2004. Karachi cricket teams have competed in the Pakistani first-class cricket tournaments the President's Trophy Grade-I, Patron's Trophy and Quaid-e-Azam Trophy from 1953–54 to 2018–19, and from 2023 to 2024. The result in a game of cricket may be a "win" for one of the two teams playing, or a "tie". Quetta is a first-class cricket team based in Quetta, Balochistan, Pakistan. Quetta has participated in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy irregularly since 1957–58. For Twenty20 and List A cricket they are sometimes known as the Quetta Bears and have participated in the Faysal Bank T20 Cup and National One-day Championship. Hyderabad Cricket Team
The Hyderabad cricket team is a domestic cricket team based in the city of Hyderabad, Telangana, run by the Hyderabad Cricket Association. It is part of the Ranji Trophy Plate Group and has seen scattered success over its many years in the Ranji Trophy circuit. It has won Ranji Trophy twice and been runners-up thrice and have made one appearance in the Irani Trophy.
