2006 Wimbledon Championships – Men's Doubles
Bob and Mike Bryan defeated Fabrice Santoro and Nenad Zimonjić in the final, 6–3, 4–6, 6–4, 6–2 to win the gentlemen's doubles tennis title at the 2006 Wimbledon Championships. With the win, the Bryan brothers completed the career Grand Slam. It was their record seventh consecutive major final. Stephen Huss and Wesley Moodie were the defending champions, but lost in the third round to Simon Aspelin and Todd Perry. The quarterfinal match between Mark Knowles & Daniel Nestor and Aspelin & Perry became, at the time, the longest match ever played at Wimbledon, lasting 6 hours and 9 minutes, with Knowles & Nestor winning the match 5–7, 6–3, 6–7(5–7), 6–3, 23–21. This record was eventually broken at the 2010 Championships, in the first round men's singles match between John Isner and Nicolas Mahut. Bob Bryan
Robert "Bob" Charles Bryan (born April 29, 1978) is an American former professional tennis player. Widely regarded as one of the greatest doubles tennis players of all time, Bryan was ranked as the List of ATP number 1 ranked doubles tennis players, world No. 1 in men's doubles for 438 weeks (List of ATP number 1 ranked doubles tennis players#Weeks at No. 1, second-most of all time), and finished as the List of ATP number 1 ranked doubles tennis players, year-end No. 1 eight times. Nicolas Mahut
Nicolas Pierre Armand Mahut (; born 21 January 1982) is a French professional tennis player who is a former world No. 1 in doubles. He is a five-time Grand Slam champion in doubles, having completed the career Grand Slam with victories at the 2015 US Open, 2016 Wimbledon Championships, 2018 French Open, and 2019 Australian Open, all partnering Pierre-Hugues Herbert. Pavel Vízner
Pavel Vízner (born 15 July 1970) is a retired professional male tennis player from the Czech Republic. Vízner has reached the French Open final twice, having had turned professional in 1990 and achieved a career high doubles ranking of World No. 5 in November 2007. Leander Paes
Leander Adrian Paes ( ; born 17 June 1973) is an Indian former professional tennis player and the first Asian man to be inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame. He is regarded as one of the greatest doubles tennis players of all-time and holds the record for the most doubles wins in the Davis Cup. Martin Damm Sr. (born 1 August 1972) is a former professional tennis player from the Czech Republic. He is best known as a doubles player (his highest ranking being No. 5 in the world in April 2007). Andreas "Andy" Ram (; born April 10, 1980) is a retired Israeli professional tennis player. He was primarily a doubles player, and competed in three Olympics. He is the first Israeli tennis player to win a senior Grand Slam event. Ram first won the mixed doubles title at the 2006 Wimbledon Championships, together with Vera Zvonareva.
